Während über 25 Jahren Sektionschef. Gemeinderat und Gemeindepräsident von Tenniken 1964-86. Landrat FDP 1967-71 und 1975-87, Präsident 1981/82. Wegen seiner Offenheit auch von Gegnern geachtet. Präsident des Musikvereins und der Feldschützen Tenniken. Präsident des Bezirksschützenverbands Sissach.
