Heirat 1922 Sophie Büttiker von Neuendorf SO; 2. Heirat 1934 Hedwig Schilling von Hauptwil TG. Gymnasium Einsiedeln; nach Krankheit Ausbildung zum Meisterknecht; autodidaktische Ausbildung zum Verwalter; Meisterdiplom als Landwirt 1945. Gutsverwalter in Immensee SZ 1926-47. 18 Jahre Kirchgemeindepräsident von Immensee. Bezirks- und Kantonsrat in Schwyz. Verwalter des Guts- und Versuchsbetriebs der Geigy AG in Pfeffingen ab 1948. Bildet über 300 Lehrlinge zu Landwirten aus. Kirchgemeindepräsident von Pfeffingen 1949-60. Kirchenrat und Kirchenratspräsident der Kantonalen Landeskirche. Vom Papst 1966 mit dem Verdienstorden Bene mementi ausgezeichnet. Bürgerrat und Gemeindepräsident von Pfeffingen 1957-71. CVP-Landrat 1963-67. <br />
